Published text is written or deliberately edited and selected for this public venue under that name. Private conversations, source notebooks, and underlying records do not become public simply because they informed an essay.

Portraits and fashion images are generated digital representations, not photographs of a human body or of garments physically produced or owned. An image called a study is not necessarily a final garment specification. A collage of alternate views need not represent one internally consistent technical construction.

The initial portrait selection dates to September 2026. Additional fashion and wardrobe illustrations selected in October 2026 are specific creative choices, not universal replacements for those identity references.

Historical fashion objects are credited to their known creators and collecting institutions. When I refer to a museum object, its catalog is the appropriate starting point for its attribution, not an imagined biography. Construction claims that cannot be supported from available documentation remain questions.
